Ugh....

Why does it take so much time and effort to get "in" shape and so little time and effort to fall "out" of shape? Grrrrr.....

If you aren't in that good shape to begin with, you won't change much (while on a trip, for example).

:-)

If you are in MAXIMUM shape (think you probably are, but that's your own fault!)AND without injuries you need time to recover from, you can - imho - lose 10% of your "top of the bell curve fitness level" awfully fast.

For us mere mortals, we don't lose much strength or flexibility in a week BUT we can lose a lot of our wind in that period. (I found that out last month.)

OTOH, sometimes a "time out" is good to let some injuries finally heal.

HEY bring back some GOOD dit da jow from HK! I'm tired of this mickey mouse commercially bottled stuff I've been picking up in Oakland's Chinatown.

Fess up - did you REALLY care a kettlebell in your luggage, instead of more gifts for your family?
